MedEd: Cardiology

On Wednesday, October 5, 2016, we were joined by two doctors. Dr. Fallahi will speak on the “plumbing” of the heart. Dr. Cusack will speak about coronary artery disease. Learn about the importance of vascular disease and how it may be a marker of cardiac disease. They will go over signs, symptoms, and screening for peripheral vascular disease.

About the Presenters Evelyn J. Cusack, MD is the Director of Community Outreach for Stamford Hospital. Dr. Cusack attended the University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed her residency at Rhode Island Hospital. She is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography.

Arzhang Fallahi, MD specializes in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. He completed medical school at the University of Washington School of Medicine and finished his residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Fallahi is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography, Internal Medicine, Interventional Cardiology, and Nuclear Cardiology.
